About V.S.Patel College Arts & Science, B.Sc., M.Sc. Self-finance

V. S. Patel College of Arts & Science is situated on bank of Kaveri river in Bilimora. Bilimora is the second largest city in the Navsari district after Navsari city, surrounded by three rivers: Ambica river from the north, Kaveri river from the south, and Kharera river passes close by. The college is 1 km far from Bilimora Jn. Railway Station as well as Bus Station. The college is located to most famous Somnath Temple. The college is supposed to have been Bilimora has all major banks, including State Bank of India nearby with ATM facility. The colleges of Bilimora Vibhag Kelavni Mandal are built on 25 acres of land donated by late Mr. Noshir Manchershah Bilimoria (Mengusi) as per the wishes of his late father Mr. Manchershah Burjorji Bilimoria (Mengusi) who had in his lifetime built and donated the Mengusi Sarvanajik Hospital. The Mandal is successfully running six educational institutes in the campus, imparting quality education from Primary to Post Graduate level.

The college has started two years self-financed course of M. Sc. (Organic Chemistry) in 2016 and three years self-financed course of B. Sc. (Chemistry) in 2017 at V. S. Patel College of Arts & Science campus managed by Bilimora Vibhag Kelavni Mandal and affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU), Surat. The college comprising of various sophisticated, well equipped departments glorified with well-trained subjective teachers and vast, well-furnished classrooms. Besides the main building, college comprises of girls hostel and chemistry laboratory for post graduate course.

With a noble aspect of developing an innovative talent among the students of college, we are publishing a yearly magazine called TRIVENI, where the students who come from different social, cultural & educational back ground, reflect their ingenuity in the form of research and artistic articles. Till date many of the staff faculties have published their research and popular articles in various national & international journals. The authorities including teaching and nonteaching staff are making continuous efforts for social welfare among the students through various schemes like National Cadet Corps, National Service Scheme.
